Kirk explores the connections between design, technology and how they create the world around us. He believes that technology expands the capabilities of those who leverage it, improving the built environment as a whole. As a Design Technology Manager, Kirk constantly examines and implements new tools and workflows to improve how NORR's integrated design teams deliver projects. Kirk is also the Executive Director of Digital Built - National Capital Region (dbNCR), facilitating the connections between the built environment and technology. As an Instructor at Algonquin College, he urges the next generation of professionals to continue advancing the industry. Kirk is also involved in the national BIM Community, sitting on the Education and Industry Engagement Think Tank of the Canada BIM Council.

Lara Chow is the Associate Director at the Carleton Immersive Media Studio (CIMS) — a research centre associated with the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism at Carleton University. The research agenda of CIMS is concerned with the study and development of hybrid forms of representation and fabrication for architectural rehabilitation and heritage conservation. She has led several research teams for projects at CIMS including the Centre Block BIM, Library of Parliament BIM, and the development of an urban model of the National Capital Region of Ottawa. Lara holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Masters of Architecture from Carleton University.
I am an Architect of over 15 years post registration experience and B.I.M Consultant specialized in B.I.M implementation in office and project environments encompassing both training and internal/external coordination protocols.
I have a passion to help various consultants understand the B.I.M process and fully embrace the software tools they use also introducing them to others to drive the BIM processes.
Craig is the Digital Project Delivery (DPD) Lead at AECOM Africa, and is based in Durban South Africa. He leads a team of digital delivery specialists who provide support to AECOMs multidisciplinary teams and projects. The AECOM Africa DPD team is currently delivering projects locally in South Africa and internationally in; Africa, the Middle East, New Zealand and Europe. Craig and his team are passionate about how digital interventions can be used to design, build and operate; faster, smarter and better buildings.
