Biographie

Scott Chatterton is a senior BIM Certified Professional, but also a teacher at heart, who enjoys helping others succeed. Cumulating over 20 years of industry experience, Mr. Chatterton has implemented digital practice workflows, processes and applications to national and international projects, ranging from large healthcare facilities and multi-unit residential housing, to multi-discipline infrastructure projects. Proficient with various delivery methods, including Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Integrated Design Process (IDP), he understands the crucial role BIM plays in the success of projects.
Scott often adopts a player/coach role, providing hands-on engagement, guidance and leadership to managers and specialists. His capacity to broadly reach diverse profiles improves collaboration and efficiency recommended for today’s BIM projects. Resourceful and experienced as a technologist, BIM Manager and Digital Practice Leader, he is a mentor of choice who successfully implements cost-effective strategies. As an experienced instructor and a frequent industry guest speaker, Scott easily connects with the audience and communicates clearly.
Currently on the Board of Directors of CanBIM, Scott’s leadership helps lay the path for the growth of BIM in Canada. His expertise in change management and his background in facilitating international connections are key assets to support the technological transition of the industry nationwide, but also to realize new ways of utilizing BIM.
