Daniel Gosselin

Senior Director Professional Services - BGIS

For more than 20 years, Daniel has specialized in the execution of capital projects. Over the last 17 years, he has focused his attention on delivering practical sustainability solutions, including facilitating LEED design and construction services. More specifically, he has led teams in the delivery of energy conservation projects, primarily focused on Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC). Currently Daniel is responsible for BGIS’ Professional Services team that is planning and implementing a carbon neutral roadmap for a large real-estate portfolio.

Kevin Teeroovengadum

Co-founder - Proptech Africa

Kevin Teeroovengadum has a BSc in Economics, MBA and MSc in Finance from Leicester University, UK. He worked for KPMG, Deloitte, Ernst & Young in corporate finance and strategic consultancy before moving to Loita Capital Partners Group based in South Africa. He joined Actis in 2007, the leading Emerging Market Private Equity Firm, as a Director as part of their Africa real estate team where he led a number of transactions and exits. He was the co-founder and CEO of AttAfrica in 2013 which became the premier investor of shopping malls in Africa. He is a frequent writer and speaker at conferences globally and currently serves on numerous boards of companies in Mauritius and also advises a number of companies in Africa leveraging his 22 years of experience in Africa in financial services, real estate/hospitality sector. He is also the co-founder of ProptechAfrica.

Michelle Killoran

Principal - OMERS Ventures

In her role as Principal at OMERS Ventures, Michelle is responsible for researching and executing on investment opportunities in proptech. She’s particularly interested in opportunities around democratizing home ownership, increasing transparency across the real estate transaction and automating workflows.

Prior to joining OMERS Ventures, Michelle was a Senior Associate in Financial Advisory at Deloitte. As a part of the Valuations group, she provided valuation services to both public and private companies related to mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax, and litigation. Michelle is a Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV). She has a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University.
In 2020, Michelle was named one of Venture Capital Journal’s "40 Rising Stars under 40" in the global venture community.
