M. Veillette is a BIM, VDC and a CIM specialist, co-founder of the BIM consulting firm Virtual construction and technology BIM One Inc. He is driven by simulation, technology, analysis, research and development within the built environment. He has been actively involved in BuildingSMART Canada, Groupe BIM Qc and CanBIM and has presented at events such as DCW (London) ORUG (Toronto), BIM World (Paris) and Groupe BIM Qc (Québec). During his career in the design and construction industry, he has had the chance to develop a multi-sector and multi-discipline experience. These experiences allowed him to develop skills related to an ecosystem of tools and to understand their integration. He is passionate about "lean" construction and design processes, which aims to create value for the customer by eliminating waste, supported by collaborative tools for project management, in the context of a systematic and rigorous approach to continuous improvement.
