Thom Hinton, president of Falkbuilt, the Calgary based offsite construction manufacturer, has worked in the Canadian and US construction industries for more than 25 years. He’s experienced firsthand how construction lags behind other sectors in adopting technology that improves processes.
Thom has brought his considerable field experience to the table as his colleagues, led by Barrie Loberg, develop Echo, the first agnostic AI cloud computing platform that fuses design, manufacturing and delivery.
As Director of Operations at ELEMENT, the largest distribution partner for DIRTT Environmental Solutions, Thom worked with ICE, a tool that Barrie created that blended a video game experience with live data for accurate pricing, engineering, manufacturing and construction on the job site.
At Falkbuilt, Thom uses Echo daily when working with the company’s global distribution network and clients around the world.
