As an established tower contractor in downtown Austin, TX, DPR’s toolbelt for constructing some of the tallest, highest quality and most unique structural giants in the city is built on expertise and experience. And it because of that trusted expertise and commercial market prowess, they are on track to build Waterline, which will be the tallest tower in Texas: a 74-story mixed-use residential, office, hotel and retail skyscraper aptly named Waterline in homage to its proximity to downtown Austin’s Lady Bird Lake.
Building a project of this magnitude takes a lot more than expertise though. One key factor to achieving success is approaching the construction journey with an unwavering commitment to efficiency, which DPR sees as the only way to scale the quality that must go into every floor. During the tour, the audience will learn how DPR uses innovative technologies to plan for these logistical challenges.
Construction industry professionals are invited to explore the Waterloo Greenway projects on this site walk. Following the successful reconstruction and community opening of Waterloo Park in 2021, the next milestone is breaking ground on Phase II: The Confluence in 2023. Join us to learn more about Waterloo Greenway and its vision for a 1.5-mile vibrant park system—connecting Waterloo Park at 15th Street to Lady Bird Lake with community gathering spaces, gardens, and trails surrounding a restored Waller Creek.
ICON is an advanced construction technologies startup developing hardware, software, and advanced materials to improve the way we build. The visit will consist of a briefing at ICON, followed by a walking tour of the Factory where we manufacture construction-scale 3D printers and conduct advanced R&D.
