CanBIM extends a very special thanks to outgoing Board Members Ian Trudeau, Senior Associate at Entuitive who joined the Board in 2011 and Christian Proulx, VP Sales & Marketing at BIM Track joined the Board in 2015. Both Ian and Christian have served the membership and the Board with great commitment and results.
Ian Trudeau joined the Board of Directors in 2011, and served on the Design & Engineering Think Tank and later the Technology & Process Think. From the Think Tanks, Ian became the Treasurer, a position held for 5 years ensuring our organization remained fiscally strong and healthy. Ian's lasting contribution to our strategic direction was also truly appreciated as CanBIM began to grow in late 2013 and 2014. Ian has worked diligently to engage future industry leaders from across Canada and from within his own organization at Entuitive to get involved with CanBIM. Thank you Ian for your commitment, participation and support of CanBIM for the last 9 years.
Christian Proulx joined the Board in 2015 while he was working at the Aéroport de Québec. Representing the owner perspective Christian was appointed as the first Chair of the Development, Asset Management and Lifecycle Think Tank. Christian worked to establish relationships across Canada within the Owner community and engaged Owners in a conversation about digital project delivery and digital transformation. Moving on from the Chair position, Christian also started a new role with BIM Track, one of Canada's fastest growing and successful software companies, which enabled Christian to offer the vendor perspective on the CanBIM Board. Christian has been an active contributor and speaker at many CanBIM events providing his leadership perspective on digital transformation within the industry. Thank you Christian for your passion, engagement and leadership for the past 5 years.
