Toronto (July 15, 2020) – CanBIM announced a new board member at the board meeting on July 15, 2020.
Brandon brings a diverse background and skill set to the CanBIM Board, having worked in civil engineering, asset management, infrastructure, and research. We are excited to have Brandon involved with shaping CanBIM’s future.
About Brandon Searle, Innovation Director for the Off-site Construction Research Centre (OCRC) at the University of New Brunswick
Brandon completed a BScE in civil engineering and a diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of New Brunswick.
Before joining UNB in his current role, Brandon worked on capital projects from both the owner and contractor side followed by a four-year position with WSP where he was an asset management consultant. While with WSP, he worked toward an master of engineering focusing on level of service in infrastructure management and completed a broad collection of courses in economics, project management, business, finance and engineering.
Brandon is a former Board Member with the Canadian Network of Asset Managers (CNAM) and presently serves as the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) Western NB Section Past-Chair, CSCE Atlantic Region Treasurer and now sits on the CanBIM Board of Directors. He is also involved in philanthropy work with a variety of organizations.
