Please tell us about GENINFO SOLUTIONS INC.
Geninfo Solutions Inc. was incorporated in Ontario in July 2008. In that time they have grown to become one of the largest BIM outsourcing companies in Canada. Geninfo has been contracted to do work on many complex projects including Hospitals, Data Centers, Universities, and Sport Stadiums. They provide a unique business model where modeling is completed at their off shore facility in Mumbai and managed locally by Project Managers. This "Blend Shore" model allows for Geninfo to pass on the savings to their customers and at the same time giving them the security of dealing locally with people that have a good understanding of their projects.

With a variety of technology tools gaining acceptance in specific niche areas, such an architectural modelling, structural steel, Mech Piping, FP, clash coordination, it is critical to adhere to interoperability standards such as “testbed, Cobie and similar initiatives by The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). The sharing of data among stakeholders is increasing in projects developing Smart Cities, including IoT & Sensor Webs, mobile tech, and the 3D & Built Environment.
What is the future of an Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence in the next five years?
AR brings to reality the concept of virtual 3D. Adapting AI tools can simulate the movement on ramps and stairs. BIM Softwares on the cloud are capable of providing multiple solutions, followed by comparison and impact matrices. Such Software Developers are frequently monitoring usage and trying to make them more intelligent every day. Probably a right move towards automating the machine learning to complete the AI.

AECOO has been a laggard in technology adaption. With BIM becoming the major technology transition drivers, some challenges are;

- External factors affecting storage of BIM DATA such as blockchain technology, dynamics of Internet of Things, IES Smart city framework.
