In honour of Canada150 celebrations taking place in 2017, the 50-year-old National Arts Centre was rejuvenated into a dramatic, open and public-friendly institution. PCL, as construction manager, utilized BIM technology to plan, coordinate and successfully execute this complex revitalization program, both transforming the building’s complicated geometries and intricate spaces, and managing the continuously operational building systems constraints.
