Digital information, processes, infrastructure and flows are poorly understood and defined through the construction process so data is not effectively transferred between construction stakeholders or between project phases.

Proposed Solution

Create a DEP framework that will guide construction professionals in how to set up and manage their digital processes within a data infrastructure. The DEP will identify:

1. Upstream data requirements for use in construction
2. Management of downstream document and data handover requirements
3. Identification of digital processes used in the construction phase
4. Best practices for data management between construction processes and construction stakeholders
