Biographie

Mr. Schiml has 9 years in the Mechanical HVAC drafting and design field. Since joining Daniels Wingerak Engineering LTD. in 2009, Mr Schiml has been influential on how the firm has adopted Revit and Building Information Modeling into its design practice, helping set DWEL as a leader in the BIM industry. Mr. Schiml is one of the leaders of the Saskatoon chapter of SaskBIM, where he and the group help the consulting industry implement and fully utilize the BIM process from design through construction and building management.

Tyler Buhr

Associate Partner, BIM Manager, Henry Downing Architects

Tyler Buhr is an Associate Partner at Henry Downing Architects in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As the BIM Manager of the firm, Tyler oversees the development, implementation and management of all aspects of BIM. His portfolio includes, but is not limited to, projects in the multi-residential, commercial, institutional and healthcare sectors. Since stepping into this role, Tyler has gained experience with multiple different delivery methods, adaptability of differing standards and collaboration in coordination efforts. Outside of the firm, Tyler is a contributing member of the SaskBIM community. His enthusiasm in leveraging the latest technologies available to enhance coordination and manage information for the benefit of the project is what keeps him motivated, forward thinking and engaged with the advancement of BIM throughout the province.
