This presentation will discuss Republic Architecture's adoption of BIM and provide our story of how it unfolded. I will briefly touch on the challenges we faced, how they were tackled, the benefits we have seen from it. From that discussion, I will discuss how we used BIM to develop the design of our new office, where we saw benefits, struggles we had with our consultants not using BIM, and how we continue to utilize the model post-construction. The content of the presentation will be oriented to appeal to firms which tackle smaller projects, to highlight the inherent benefits BIM provides regardless of the size of a project.
