Biographie

David is the Senior Consultant leading digital advisory and BIM in Canada. David’s experience as BIM Manager for the contractor spans 10 years, where he has led the implementation of BIM throughout the UK, UAE and Canada. David has been involved in a number of BIM projects in sectors including healthcare, commercial, entertainment and transit. In addition to project BIM management, David has been involved with the establishment and leadership of the digital departments for contractors in the UAE and Canada. David has also been heavily involved with the Canadian BIM associations, where he is a member of the working groups for developing national BIM certification for BuildingSMART Canada. David was also the co-founder of the Winnipeg BIM Community.

Paul Shack

Operations Manager, Nor-Tec Group

Paul is a Project Superintendent with Nortec Group. Paul has 14 years’ experience in the Electrical industry and has pioneered the BIM aspect within the company. Paul uses BIM as a critical part of planning, collaboration, and pre-fabrication within each project. Paul is excited to see how BIM has changed the industry of construction over the past 10 years and is excited to see what it will bring to the industry in the next 10.
